I approached the workshop with some trepidation due to my long- standing lack of ability in the art arena. That feeling lasted about 1 minute..... On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sharon and soon entered the beautiful art room- surrounded by paintings of Norman Lindsay’s sirens- quite the setting! The local Blue Mountains artist was warm and very encouraging and approached the task in such a way that both beginners and more experienced students could be both supported and free to show creativity. The setting was amazing and the hospitality wonderful- delicious food and drinks and overall for me a very empowering experience. My painting sits proudly on a wall in my home. Thank you, Peppertree Events for such a surprising experience!

I just wanted to say a HUGE congratulations on the impeccable event you ran on Saturday night! The venue was stunning, and Geoff was so welcoming and professional. Everything from the workshop to the food made for a lovely evening, and I have a gorgeous painting to remember it by! I would 100% recommend that everyone gives a Peppertree Workshop a go at least once! Many thanks!

Still on a high days after attending this event. I am a complete novice in everything arty but with expert and encouraging guidance through the painting process i now have my own painting hanging proudly on my wall! It felt like a real privilege to be able to do this in the home of such well known Australian artist and it was all topped off with a delicious and generous supper. Such a positive experience. Absolutely loved it

I had a great time with Peppertree Events. I was not sure what to expect or what I could produce having never painted before. I was very happy with the results. Practical and professional guidance from the artist, and lots of nice food, good company and quite a few laughs along the way. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a unique, informative and fun experience, then I highly recommend this event by Peppertree Events. The location of the Norman Lindsay Gallery was amazing being surrounded by iconic art pieces and learning to paint in this environment made it feel so special. The teacher was passionate and had a genuine eagerness to impart his knowledge of painting to us. The group of 10 was a perfect size, allowing people to get to know each other and have some fun. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I walked away feeling great that I had learned something brand new. This would be a great event for team building or a weekend retreat for a close group of friends
